"We really pushed the online registration advertising this year – much more than last, lots of emails and mailings all referring to the ease of online use. I created an 11-page flyer that we sent out in early December and highlighted the registration on page 1, and again on page 2 in a second article. We added all the online registration info on our handout that was printed and distributed to the local elementary and middle schools."

Best wishes to Urbandale Little League at the 2009 Little League World Series!

Brooke Kirkpatrick, Account Executive/Account Manager

Brooke Kirkpatrick

I've been with Active for 2.5 years and currently work as an Account Executive and Account Manager. I work primarily within the baseball and soccer leagues and clubs, and love working with clients who have been with Active from day one—to new clients who are excited to move forward and use online registration for the very first time.

Outside of work, the outdoors and adventure is my passion. I'm fortunate to work from my home in Denver, CO where I spend most of my spare time riding my horse, Monique, and hiking with my yellow lab, Aspen. Colorado has 54 mountains that reach 14,000 feet and my goal is to hike each one of them over the next 5 years. To date, I have climbed 24, and am now tackling the more difficult ones.

Cycling and mountain biking are my other summer activities, although I recently ran the Rocky Mountain Half Marathon and the US Half Marathon Copper where the course ascends up to Vail Pass and back down. The high altitude and hills definitely add a new challenge to running but also a great way to get ready for winter as I also alpine ski, telemark ski, and snowshoe!
