Here are some tips our league and club administrators have shared with us on how they successfully promoted online registration to reduce workloads and long hours for their organizations:
- Add Website links and use word of mouth. As people walked in and stood in line, BUSC's registrar announced to everyone to go home and register online. They listened. Today, nearly 100% of the club's registrations are processed online — Cindy, Ballistic United Soccer Club
- Run the program like a business. We have 650 paying customers. We have to treat Maumelle Baseball like a business, otherwise we'd lose customers to other programs. Customers have to see a return on the money they're spending. Online registration is a convenient service that brings tremendous value to our customers — Bill, Maumelle Sports Association
- Pass on the transaction fees for the online registration and payment processing. Our parents know they're getting charged a few extra dollars to register online, but we receive absolutely no complaints. The convenience is worth it to everyone — Eric, Rockville Football

I joined Active in September 2007. As an Application Specialist, I troubleshoot technical problems and answer general support questions on our various products; educating and explaining product features and functionality to clients via phone and email. Additionally, I work with our implementation analysts and account representatives as needed to ensure clients' needs are met for their seasonal programs.
In my free time, I enjoy doing just about anything, as long as it is outdoors. My favorite forms of entertainment include surfing, snowboarding, running, biking, swimming, football, basketball and golf. I also enjoy hanging out with friends, family, and traveling every chance I get. On my most recent trip, I spent a month backpacking with a friend through Scotland and Ireland.
