Welcome to the first edition of SoccerBytes in 2010, our online newsletter for soccer LeagueOne administrators.

ActiveSports had a great weekend visiting Fort Worth, Texas, for the USYS Convention in February. A few of our team members made the trip and we enjoyed spending some face-to-face time with the attendees. Our first User Group Meeting was held bright and early on the morning of February 27th and we'd like to thank all of the state soccer association representatives who attended. We appreciate your time and the valuable feedback you provided! After the meeting, the group decided to hold these meetings more frequently and we plan to begin scheduling them on a quarterly basis. Stay tuned for more info on the User Group Meetings and how you can get involved.

We'd also like to congratulate Valerie Clouatre from Louisiana State Soccer. Valerie won our drawing for a Netbook computer. Congrats, Valerie—we know you'll put it to good use!

As always, we appreciate your feedback and suggestions so please keep them coming by emailing us.

Regards,

ActiveSports Team

LeagueOne Development Roadmap

2009 was an extremely busy year for the Active Network Development team! We released several new products including Schedules, Scores and Standings, Event Rosters, Coaching Certifications and much more. Being that our state soccer associations are key influencers, we value your opinions and have taken your feedback into great consideration while planning development and release dates. Active management and the development team are currently evaluating our 2010 roadmap to ensure that we are addressing both the state associations and their local organizations.

It is our goal to have a fully integrated solution within LeagueOne. We will continue to integrate all stand alone systems into LeagueOne while building new features and functionality into this product.

LeagueOne releases in Q1 2010 include:
--> Self Set Up
--> Payment Plans
--> Enhanced Financial Reporting

The ActiveSports Account Management team will keep you updated as development is completed and released. Have a question now? We're happy to help, just contact your account manager.

On the Sidelines

Jared Norris, Technical Account Manager, LeagueOne

I have been at Active for nearly three years, providing technical support to national governing bodies such as Wisconsin State Soccer, California Youth Soccer Association and other state soccer programs using our LeagueOne product. When these programs need to make adjustments to their rules and regulations in LeagueOne, I am their primary contact. As changes are implemented, I am responsible for making sure no detail goes unnoticed and acting as a liaison between our clients and our development team. I also provide technical training on the functionality of LeagueOne to ensure that our clients are comfortable with every aspect of the technology.

My new Vizsla puppy, Nala, has recently been monopolizing my free time, but I am normally very involved in adult sports teams. I'm a bit obsessed with professional sports and follow my Eagles and Padres religiously! If it involves a ball, it's a sport I'm interested in.

Contact Jared at Jared.Norris@ActiveNetwork.com.
