LeagueOne Administrator Tips & Tricks
Merging Age Groups
Do you have co-ed age groups or teams with more than one age on the same team (i.e. 6 and 7 year olds on a team)? Using the "Configure Merged Age Groups" option under the Club Menu, you can configure your club so that all the appropriate players and volunteers are visible when forming teams.
The example below shows a Division 1, U10B team allowing U09B’s to show up on the unassigned players list when building teams. Here’s how to use the Configure Merged Age Groups option:
- Define U08B as a "Master Age Group" and U07B as a "Merged Age Group".
- Next, create a team in U08B or the Master Age Group.
- Now when you search for players or staff to assign to the team created in Step 2 above, you’ll be able to see both U08B and U07B in the same view.
Make sure you choose the correct division. The ‘master age group’ is the age group of the actual team you are working with, and the ‘merged age group’ enables that younger age group to be eligible to play on that team.

Reconciliation Report
The Reconciliation Report displays all registrations, transactions, and adjustments for the club by billing period. To access the report, navigate to the “Club Menu” and click on LeagueOne Reconciliation report listed in the menu.

I’ve played soccer on every level ranging from recreational to collegiate at Southeastern Louisiana University, and my passion for soccer prompted post graduate studies in sports business. On the Road with Bret and Sue
What could be better than venturing to the East Coast in the middle of a hot sticky summer to take in the games at the US Youth Soccer National Championships? Some folks may think that a soccer event is not a great adventure but to those of us who love the game and have a passion for youth soccer it is a GREAT ADVENTURE.
Bret and I made the trip to the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, the country's most prestigious national youth soccer tournament. Being involved with youth soccer for many years, we enjoyed watching these promising athletes compete in the crown jewel of competitive youth soccer. We were pleasantly surprised the rains held off and the games were all played as scheduled. It was fun chatting with many of our states while watching from the sidelines.
Shortly after our return, we volunteered at the Annual Surf Cup Tournament—one of the most prestigious soccer tournaments in the US which is held right here in our own backyard. For 3 consecutive weekends, the Del Mar Polo fields host soccer teams representing the best of the best soccer players from around the country. As volunteer greeters at the College Coach check in, Bret and I were amazed to learn that more than 300 college coaches were in attendance.
We were delighted we had the chance to meet with many of you at these events. Next year’s Nationals will be hosted by one of our LeagueOne clients—Kansas Youth Soccer Association in Overland, Kansas so hope to see many more of you there!
