SportsBytes: eNewsletter for Sports Administrators - April
Welcome to the April edition of our SportsBytes Newsletter!
With the spring sports season now in full bloom, it's never too early to begin planning for next season. Late this summer, we will begin offering integrated game and match scheduling within our LeagueOne/ClubReg solution. Based on answering a few simple questions (such as available field dates, games times and length of games), the Scheduler will dynamically create your league's schedules within a matter of seconds. No more pencils, erasers, spreadsheets or late nights required!
Shortly after the launch of the Scheduler, we will further enhance this offering with the ability to dynamically record game schedules and automatically tabulate standings to offer a fully integrated and automated scheduling solution.
While the initial release of our Scheduler feature is targeted for soccer, we will be offering the new feature for many other sports as well. Contact your account manager for more details about our Scheduler's components and the added convenience these features will provide to your staff.
Good luck to your organization this Spring!
Regards, Scott Leder General Manager

"LeagueRegister improved efficiencies and enabled access to updated information. With the reporting feature, our board members have access to run their own reports from anywhere. This translates to improved oversight, a more accurate financial picture, and an alleviated strain on our staff members to pull ad hoc reports. As for parents and participants, it's now very easy for them to log in to see their balances after deposits have been paid and discounts applied. The benefit of having all of this is we now receive more payments on time. In fact, we significantly reduced the number of outstanding payments and we attribute this reduction to empowering our parents and participants to log in and make payments quickly and easily before they're due." |

Sue Hinkle, Account Manager - Major Accounts

I joined the Active Network family in December of 2008 as an Account Manager for Major Accounts. Since I'm passionate about the team sports industry, I thoroughly enjoy working with our National Governing Bodies (NGB) and National Accounts coming up with new and creative ideas that can assist them in streamlining their organizational efficiencies and helping them increase participation, member growth and overall satisfaction. I'm pleased with my new position at Active and being associated with a team who is fully committed to our clients and their members.
Outside of work, my favorite pastime is driving or racing my Miata--one of life's great pleasures for me. On weekends, I'm zooming (always obeying the speed limit) over twisty roads in and around San Diego County with our Miata buddies or participating in Autocross event at Qualcomm Stadium. My husband and I enjoy taking road trips in the Miata and recently visited Moab, Utah and Durango, Colorado on our last adventure. We keep the top down the entire trip—through rain, sleet or snow storms, we are diehard top-down folks.
I'm equally passionate about volunteering and am actively involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association —an organization that is near and dear to my heart. I also enjoy taking brisk-long walks with my hubby, wine tasting, gourmet cooking and traveling abroad; I'm looking forward to a trip to Thailand before the end of 2009 (unfortunately, without the Miata).
