Have You Visited the New ActiveSports Website?
Built exclusively with Active's Content Manager (ACM) Website solution

www.activesports.com

The new ActiveSports website, which we launched in July, was created exclusively using the company's own Active Content Manager (ACM) Website platform.

And the ACM Enhanced website is now available to clients! Our ACM Enhanced website solution is a completely hosted solution featuring built-in content management tools.

With point-and-click functionality similar to those in popular word processing software programs, our ACM web content tools allow organizations to easily maintain and expand their website without a webmaster or previous web design experience.

Check out this month's webinar to learn how an ACM Enhanced website can help you manage your league!

"The new website is filled with expanded functionality, ensuring ease of use for staff and end-users alike. Because the Active Content Manager system is designed with smart navigation and editing features, we can create or update content and upload digital assets from any location at any time, providing the most current information to our membership. Finally, the scrolling slide show packs a visual punch, showcasing the players, parents, coaches, referees and administrators who are the heart of youth soccer."

What do you do?

I’m an Account Manager responsible for maintaining relationships with our state soccer and National Governing Bodies (NGBs) clients. As a technology consultant and liaison on behalf of my clients, I coordinate with other functional teams within Active Network to ensure that we deliver the marketing and technology services best suited to my clients' needs. On any given day, I’m involved in various projects including product demos, marketing initiatives and technical development schedules ... All in a day’s work!

What keeps you busy outside of work?

Well, I’ve played soccer my whole life — I played college soccer for three years at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, before transferring to the University of Colorado in Boulder. I now play in a couple of adult competitive soccer leagues, though I’ve been known to catch a televised game now and again at a local pub.

I’m also an outdoor enthusiast and avid surfer/snowboarder/ traveler. I recently climbed Mt. Whitney and completed my 2nd triathlon, both successfully! Next challenge: taking on the not-so-rolling hills in the Big Sur Half Marathon this fall!

I’m also a avid participant of "Active X", a boot camp-style wellness and training program created by one our own Active team members. It’s been a great way to stay in shape and meet my fellow co-workers.

What Olympic events are you planning to follow?

Like many soccer fans, I’ve been at a loss for international competition in the wake of EuroCup 2008. Hopefully, the Olympics will prove a good segue into the 2010 World Cup. Catch my blog on soccer at the Olympics. I’m also a fan of the Pentathlon and the men and women’s 400. Go USA!
